The original recipe said to add rose petals to the cream too - but that sounded a bit strange to me. I'd probably end up leaving for work with a big rose petal stuck to my forehead! But in case you want to add it it said 20-30 rose petals fresh or dried, added in at the very end. I have made a basic salve, but not with rose water, I wonder if you can make rose water yourself if you have access to rose petals. I have been making basic soap and starting to wonder about including more interesting ingredients!
